Raine Maida stopped by my show for a  chat before his Mac Ballroom show. He had along his “assistant” Chantal. Here’s the interview:

Cheryl from the Calgary Humane Society stopped in with a little fellow named Stephen. He’s a Degu - looks like a large hamster, but is related to the Guinea Pig. They are very social animals and love your attention. 

Cake’s coming to town for an X92.9 show on May 15th at Mac Hall. Vince DiFiore (trumpeter for the band) helped make the announcement today on the Rock Report. We started out by talking about the last time he came through town with David Byrne, Talking Heads’ frontman…

My biggest fan rung up again, and apparently caught Candice filling in news/traffic for Newsboy on Friday afternoon. She seemed a little put off by it, although she did want to say hello. A terse hello. Listen:

Biggest Fan Call - March 11

Cheryl from the Calgary Humane Society was in today (as she is every Thursday) and she brought along a friendly little fellow named Buddy. He’s a 9 year old Shih Tzu whose owners had to give him up. He would make a great companion dog. He’ll require eye drops daily for an eye ulcer. You can check him (and all sorts of other pets of all shapes n sizes) at the Humane Society.

   

There was a recent benefit put on by brilliant author Dave Eggers for his 826LA charity. One of the performances featured a duet with Will Ferrell and Dave Grohl. This is it:

Charly walked off into the sunset, and almost on cue my biggest fan (Stalker?) comes back into the picture. It can’t be coincidence. Here’s the call:
